A Lifetime
for Music,
People and
Atmosphere.
Music has always been more than sound to me. It’s about people, emotions and the right atmosphere. And the technology that makes it all come to life.
First Beats
I started DJing at 14 in the legendary Club 73. Back then I was already fascinated not only by music, but also by the entire AV world – especially light.
Hands On
At 16 I was already offering event technology and building my own setups for various events.
Soundwave
In 1984, I founded Soundwave Veranstaltungstechnik together with my best friend. We worked for major clients, including Peter Maffay, RPR1, hr3 and many more.
Still the Same Passion
Different stages, new technologies, countless events but the motivation is still the same: creating unique moments with music, light and the right atmosphere.
Big Stages
From Clubs
to Arenas.
With Soundwave we realised a wide range of projects from club events in the Rhein–Main area to major concerts. Highlights include the lighting for the ZDF lakeside stage at the Bregenz Seebühne during the 2008 Football World Cup, the complete AV production for the European tour of Guano Apes and numerous other events for Peter Maffay, RPR1, hr3, ZDF and well-known artists and brands.
Music Without Limits
A Deep Love
for Vinyl.
I collect records – with a strong focus on maxi singles and rare finds. Over the years this passion has grown into a collection of several tens of thousands of records. Music tells stories – and many of them are on vinyl.
More Than Music
Experience
and Craft.
Before music became my profession, I trained as a metal construction master and certified welder – and I still run my own metalworking company today. That hands-on precision carries straight into my event work: building rigs, reading structures, solving problems on site. It’s also why I’ve built up a large arsenal of my own AV and lighting equipment over the years, with a trusted network to call on for anything I don’t have in stock.
It’s All About
the Right Moments.
Good music, the right light and a great atmosphere can turn any event into something special. That’s what drives me – then and now.
